Many high-stakes tests include interactive item types, frequently called technology enhanced items or TEIs. Achieve3000 Literacy uses TEIs in the Test Prep and Test Smart lesson collections. These types of items require students to manipulate the response options. Examples include drag and drop, Venn diagram, sequencing, highlighting, multiple-part, and multiple-select responses.
It is important that students know how to work with each of these item types so that they can accurately answer the questions they see on their high-stakes tests. Use this document with students to provide regular practice with these items types throughout the school year.
To activate these collections, go to My Lessons > Collections. Place a checkmark next to these collections and click Save on the bottom of the page. You can now assign these to your students as needed.
